Preserve A Home Program
Sponsorship & Volunteer Opportunities
Provide funding to help transform a home in disrepair. The Preserve A Home sponsor group has the opportunity to see the impact in a short period of time as the exterior rehabilitation process is completed.

Funding
We have several levels of sponsorship available:
| Full External Projects | $13,000 |
| Major Projects | $8,000 - $10,000 |
| Moderate Projects | $5,000 |
| Minor Projects | $3,000 |
| Brush-Up | $1,200 |
Scheduling Options
Preserve A Home Sponsorships offer groups the opportunity to provide their volunteers with a unique team-building experience for one day up to 12 days (up to 195 volunteer slots) on the house they sponsor. The number of days depends on the level of sponsorship and construction schedule/scope of work.
Development staff will work with groups to determine their desire and need for number of volunteer days within the funding level. Sponsors do not have to provide volunteers. Trinity Habitat also has many “non-sponsor” volunteer groups who simply want to help build, but do not have the resources to provide funding.
Workday Guidelines
The typical work schedule is 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break (September - May).
In the summer, the twork schedule is 7:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with a 10:30 a.m. snack break (June - August).
There are 15 volunteers per shift.
Volunteer Age Limits:
- 12 – 15 Years of Age may landscape and paint only. Not allowed on site during regular construction days.
- 16 - 17 Years of Age may do all except work on roof and use power tools. Must be accompanied by an adult (4 youth to 1 adult ratio) and sign a youth waiver with parent or guardian signature.
- 18+ Years of Age may do all that does not require a license.
Project Duration
Preserve A Home projects take 1 to 3 weeks to complete, depending upon the scope of work, build schedule and weather.
