Meet Trinity Habitat

A Christian ministry building
strong alongside all people

Trinity Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our community to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

Build Strong
Neighborhoods

Habitat families work with donors, volunteers, and community partners to build strong neighborhoods.

The cost-of-home burden leaves families with little income to afford the cost of food, health care, and other basic necessities.

Lower-income families have the following housing options: overcrowd, overpay, and/or live in dilapidated conditions. These are the foundation of a poor standard of living.

This is why Trinity Habitat focuses on making the #CostOfHome something we all can afford. When home is affordable, it positively impacts all aspects of a family’s life.

History

Fort Worth Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc. was founded in 1989 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, serving Fort Worth. In 2006, the name was changed to Trinity Habitat for Humanity to include the four counties we now serve, Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, and Wise.

Having grown from a handful of dedicated founders into a volunteer corps of thousands, today Trinity Habitat for Humanity is ranked #3 out of more than 1,200 Habitat affiliates in the nation in new home production.

Habitat International

In addition to Trinity Habitat’s primary local focus, we also support international efforts through Habitat for Humanity International. You can get involved! Take a Global Village volunteer trip and immerse yourself in a new culture.

Founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, Habitat for Humanity International is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poor housing conditions.

Thanks in no small part to our most famous volunteers, U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn, Habitat now works in more than 1,200 communities across the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries and has helped 8+ million people achieve strength, stability, and independence through safe, decent and affordable shelter.

All Are Welcome

Trinity Habitat is a Christian ministry. All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. We build with people regardless of race or religion. There is no requirement of faith to participate.
