Carver Heights East

East Side of Fort Worth

Carver Heights East is a small, historic and very peaceful neighborhood that is nestled on the west bank of Lake Arlington. It is centrally located in the Metroplex, making residents’ commute convenient to Fort Worth, the Midcities and Dallas. Community members can take advantage of a neighborhood park, nearby churches, the Carver Heights East Neighborhood Association, and much more.

Developed by black professionals for black professionals, Historic Carver Heights was the first neighborhood of its kind in the city. Interestingly, it was designed for auto traffic rather than pedestrians, so the original community on the north end has long curved roadways and no sidewalks.
