WE NEED PAINTING TEAMS!
Can you put a team together from your church or company? Or a team of friends and family?
Each house requires a team of 20. Can you put a full team together? If not, smaller teams will be combined to make larger teams. Teams larger than 20 will be assigned multiple houses.
Twice a year, Trinity Habitat for Humanity partners with the City of Fort Worth and volunteers to help families in need of assistance do minor exterior rehabs and give their home a fresh coat of paint. It brightens up the neighborhoods and is such a huge help to the homeowners, many of whom are elderly residents on fixed incomes no longer able to do this work on their own. It is amazing to see the transformation that occurs in a single day with the help of hundreds of volunteers!

How It Works
Depending on the size of your team and the size of the house, painting can take two to seven hours. Please clear your schedule until 3 p.m.
Get a group together (volunteers must be 12 or older).
Get everyone’s T-shirt sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL).
Determine who your Team Captain (main point of contact) will be.
Register your team online (total count and T-shirt sizes).
Make sure your group has ladders (ask friends, if needed).
Team Captains (or a representative) attend Team Captains Meeting to turn in ALL waivers and get house addresses, instructions, and supplies.
Arrive at your house at 8 a.m. on the day of the event.

First come, first served, so start putting your teams together now, collect T-shirt sizes, and be ready to register on September 10. We ran out of team slots at our last five Brush Ups. Ensure your team can participate by becoming a sponsor or starting a fundraiser (it only takes 5 minutes).

Start a Fundraiser
Every $1,000 raised guarantees participation for up to 25 volunteers in our Spring Brush Up.
We have an easy-to-use online fundraising platform. It takes less than 5 minutes to set it up.
Teams need to raise 50% of their $1,000 goal by September 6 to guarantee participation and the full $1,000 by September 20 to be recognized as a sponsor and get their name listed on the back of the Brush Up T-shirt.

How to Raise $1,000
How do you raise $50? Ask five friends to contribute $10 each. Sell 25 brownies for $2 each. Mow a lawn for $50. Be creative, have fun, and know you are supporting a great cause!
