Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Trinity Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Core Values

  • Excellence: overachiever, overcome, overdeliver

  • Respect: do unto others as you would have them do unto you

  • Integrity: operate with the highest possible ethical standard

  • Compassion:  help those in need

  • Grace: show kindness and mercy to those who are wrong

Trinity Habitat is a Christian ministry. All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. We build with people regardless or race or religion. There is no requirement of faith to participate.

Our History

  • People smiling and talking at a construction site, wearing helmets and safety gear, with a man in a red bandana greeting a young woman in a yellow shirt.

    1989

Fort Worth Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc. was founded in 1989 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, serving Fort Worth.

  • A woman with two children standing outside in front of a blue house. The boy is wearing a white polo shirt, and the girl is wearing a floral dress with a pink bow in her hair. They are all smiling and making playful facial expressions.

    2006

In 2006, the name was changed to Trinity Habitat for Humanity to include the five counties we now serve, Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, Wise, and Palo Pinto.

  • Two Habitat for Humanity volunteers wearing yellow shirts and blue safety helmets, standing outdoors with trees in the background. They are smiling, and one is holding a water bottle.

    Today

Having grown from a handful of dedicated founders into a volunteer coalition of thousands; today Trinity Habitat for Humanity is ranked in the top 10 out of more than 1,200 Habitat affiliates in the nation in new home production.
